Gaza. (REUTER)- Hamás amenaza con una cadena de atentados contra Israel. Unos 13 grupos de milicianos de la franja de Gaza se han unido a los islamistas palestinos, que gobiernan en la región. El anuncio llega el mismo día en que los líderes de Israel y Palestina hayan retomado las negociaciones directas, auspiciadas por el presidente estadounidense, Barack Obama.
Según un portavoz de Hamás -que ha sido excluido del proceso de paz y que está en contra del reconocimiento del Estado de Israel-, los 13 grupos trabajarán juntos para lanzar “ataques más efectivos”. El brazo armado de la organización, Brigadas Al Qassam, se adjudicó el atentado en el que murieron cuatro colonos israelíes el pasado martes. Entonces, anunció una “cadena de ataques” que seguirían al tiroteo.
El ataque del pasado martes, a dos días de iniciarse las conversaciones entre el presidente palestino, Mahmud Abbas, y el primer ministro israelí, Benjamín Netanyahu, supuso un duro golpe para la reapertura del proceso, después de 20 meses congelado. Con este nuevo anuncio, Hamás ofrece una nueva muestra de su intención de desestabilizar las negociaciones. Se trata de una forma de “responder a las negociaciones que persiguen la venta del país (Palestina)”, ha dicho Abu Ubaida, portavoz del brazo armado de Hamas. “Las acciones de resistencia han ido hacia un nuevo y más avanzado plano de cooperación en el frente en los más altos niveles de preparación”, ha añadido.
Entre los grupos que se han unido a la ofensiva se encuentran Yihad Islámica, los Comités de Resistencia Popular y una célula armada del movimiento Fatal, al que pertenece el propio Abbas y en abierto enfrentamiento con Hamás.
