Cubanos detenidos en Curazao por supuesto tráfico de drogas en conexión con Hezbolá
Un número de 17 personas fueron detenidas por presunto tráficos de drogas en conexión con Hezbolá, informó este miércoles agentes de la Policía de Curazao los que afirmon que entre los detenidos se encuentran cubanos, colombianos, libaneses y venezolanos,
Carlos Casseres, jefe de la Policía de Curazao, dijo que parte del dinero obtenido con la venta de droga presuntamente estaba destinada a apoyar a grupos vinculados con Hezbolá y se canalizaba mediante bancos de Oriente Medio
Además la Policía informó que se sospecha que los dos alijos de 2.000 kilos de cocaína que fueron incautados a principios de este año en Curazao pertenecían a los presuntos traficantes, quienes supuestamente usaron buques de carga y lanchas rápidas para importar la droga desde Colombia y Venezuela para transportarla a África y Europa.
Por su parte, las autoridades holandesas, bajo cuyo protectorado está Curazao, dijeron que los presuntos narcotraficantes tenían contactos internacionales con otras “redes criminales que financieramente apoyaban a Hezbolá en Oriente Medio”.
“Grandes cantidades de dinero del narcotráfico inundaron el Líbano, desde donde se hicieron pedidos de armas que debían ser enviadas desde América del Sur”, dijo Holanda en un comunicado divulgado en Curazao.
