Se reunen ciber-disidentes
WASHINGTON. (VOA)- El Instituto George W. Bush y la organización estadounidense Freedom House reúnen a varios activistas por la libertad y los derechos humanos, y expertos en internet para analizar el movimiento global de ciber-disidentes.
Al encuentro asisten expertos de la talla de Rodrigo Diamanti de la organización Futuro Presente de Venezuela; Arash Kamangir de Irán; Oleg Kozlovsky de Rusia; Ernesto Hernández Busto de Cuba; Isaac Mao de China y Ahed Alhendi de Siria.
En la cita estarán además expertos del gobierno estadounidense y de otras organizaciones, como Daniel Baer, Asistente Secretario de Estado para la Democracia, los Derechos Humanos y el Trabajo; Peter Ackerman, fundador del Centro Internacional para el Conflicto No Violento (ICNC) y Óscar Morales Guevara, fundador del movimiento “Un millón de voces contra las FARC” y además promotor de un movimiento contra el presidente de Venezuela Hugo Chávez a través de la red social Facebook.
El propósito del evento es analizar las condiciones de las libertades políticas en la red y capacitar a los participantes con las tecnologías y el conocimiento para superar la censura gubernamental en la web.
Se presentaran ponencias de invitados de países como Venezuela, Cuba, Irán, China, Rusia y Siria.
