Los guaracheros de España

La Habana. El refrán cubano dice: “Si compras cabeza, no le cojas miedo a los ojos”. Este refrán de ascendencia yoruba parece aplicarse a los socialistas en el poder de España. Enfrascarse en negociaciones de carácter político con políticos, siempre es un riesgo. De los políticos puede esperarse lo que la conveniencia dicte y las conveniencias cambian. Hacerlo con gánsteres, es como jugar ruleta rusa con un arma averiada. Quizás algo salga bien.
Un cubano que servía a la inteligencia española, puede ser pasado por las armas. Conrado Hernández y su trouppe de espías de izquierda y revolucionarios, van a ser procesados por el fiscal Juan Escalona. El Sr. Escalona es conocido por los socios en la banda como ‘Cuarto’e pollo’ y por los no tan amigos, como “Charco ‘esangre”. Es un tipo cuyo currículo profesional está avalado por las ejecuciones que hasta el momento dicen que ha logrado. Es cierto que no son tantas, otros tienen más. Sólo que las de “Cuarto ‘epollo”, han tenido mayor impacto y compromiso personal.
El Sr. Escalona compite en popularidad negativa con el comandante de la revolución Ramiro Valdés. La diferencia entre ambos es que mientras Valdés es temido y respetado, Escalona sólo es temido.
Dicen que los servicios de espionaje y contra espionaje españoles, fueron organizados en la década de los años cuarenta del siglo XX, por asesores alemanes de la Gestapo y la Inteligencia política y militar nazi. Con Franco eran muy buenos o tan buenos como pueden ser estos cuerpos en ausencia de un estado de derecho democrático. Nunca llegaron a la excelencia de Mossad que juega su partida bajo las reglas de la democracia. La única de esa zona tan especialmente convulsa.
España es una democracia a pesar del PSOE y esto complica las cosas para ciertas operaciones encubiertas. Una ejecución en Cuba de un agente del servicio de inteligencia español, sería desastrosa para Zapateros y Moratinos. Para ellos es vital que el Sr. Hernández disfrute de indulgencia temporal y que en vez de morir frente a la escuadra de fusilamiento, lo haga de manera más discreta. Por ejemplo, un asordinado infarto mientras cumple su merecida y larga sanción sería lo adecuado.
Así, figuras que disfrutaron de cierto respeto, pasan a ser guaracheros de la pasarela política. Esto explica que el ministro de exteriores español, Miguel Ángel Moratinos, se haya reunido con familiares de los cinco espías encarcelados en USA y haya rehusado hacerlo con los de prisioneros políticos y de conciencia del régimen habanero.
Pensemos en los intereses económicos españoles en Cuba. En la ‘intrascendencia’ que pesa sobre las figuras políticas que representan más o menos, la lucha por la democracia en la Isla. Sumemos a esto, el peso subjetivo que el asunto cubano tiene para España y el placer de ganar la partida a los yanquis. No olvidar los recursos de todo tipo de las izquierdas (la carnívora y las otras) y su simpatía por la dictadura cubana, más la indiscutida habilidad diplo-gansteril del régimen.
Entonces, todo apunta hacia lo mismo. Pragmatismos aparte, hasta los políticos tienen su corazoncito y su poquitín de vergüenza. Nadie necesita sindicarse gratuitamente con un régimen como el cubano o se hace guarachero de balde. No parece ser una razón válida esa de que las presiones han sido inútiles hasta ahora con el régimen cubano. Esto me hace recordar a mi anciana y difunta abuelita. Cuando mi padre le reprochaba su paciencia en decirme lo mismo diez veces, ella impertérrita respondía: -Verá Juan, si lo hubiese dicho nueve veces, habría perdido mi tiempo.
Todo parece indicar que entre los guaracheros de España y el ancianato gobernante en Cuba, hay vínculos invisibles, tan intangibles como el socialismo. Hoy no se ven, pero ahí están, como la Puerta de Alcalá de la canción de Víctor Manuel.
Quizás, se filtre algo en un futuro sobre este escabroso particular. Cuando se entra en el terreno incierto de los espías y los contra espías, puede pasar cualquier cosa. Por lo pronto, Conrado Hernández, el Dr. Raúl Castellanos y su misteriosa y segurosa esposa están en candela. A Hernández la cabeza le huele a pólvora y no mojada. Para el ancianato, espionaje es alta traición y espía es espía. Da lo mismo que se haga en sufragio de sus queridos enemigos del norte, como de sus no tan queridos amigos de España.
